One question that has been in the back of my head of the longest time is if I have ever made a big impact on someone’s life, not just an impact where someone remembers my name, but some type of impact that’s big enough to stir up someone’s emotions. Like, as they sit there in the dark, they would try to recollect broken thoughts of me, they would stare at the clock impatiently until it hits 11:11 to wish for me to come back into their life, they would spend time to dwell on the unchangeable, for me. I wonder if I have ever walked out on someone, anyone, and left them with a heartbreak without the intentions of doing so. Because I know for a fact that there are many others who have impacted my life this way.

I wouldn't mind falling in love with a best friend.

Too bad I have never liked a best friend like that.
But damn, it must be amazing to fall in love with someone who knows you inside and out, someone who won’t give up on you easily.

I bottle up feelings, like old wine. It’s just a natural thing for me since everyone claims they understand after you tell them something, but I know no one truly understands because they’re not going through what I've been through. I guess it becomes a habit after awhile, and you get used to it. I have a hard time telling people how I feel anyways.

P E R S P E C T I V E

I've always wanted to see myself in someone else’s perspective.

What their first impression would be. How they feel about me. What they feel towards me. How I appeal to them. How they’d judge me. Every little thing always interest me. See whether each and everyone of you share a similar or different view on things.

One thing for sure, I really want to perceive myself from different angles of the human eye.

Friends who aren't really your "friends".

You may have a lot of friends on Facebook and you talk to heaps of people on a daily basis, but at the end of the day, who are really your friends?
Everyone’s got a “friend” who isn’t really a friend. You know, those people who you know by name but not by their story. Those people who wouldn't give a damn shit if you’re in a trouble or whatnot. Just simply those “friends” who use you for whatever reason or purpose. You may think you’re popular and that you've got plenty of friends that got your back, but when the time comes - when something actually happens, who’s actually going to be there by your side?

There's so many things I should've, could've and would've done, but I didn't. To think about it, one little action was all I needed to do to make the outcome different in many situations. If only I could turn back the hands of time, I would take the chance instead of spending all of my time regretting what I should of done.

2014 was an unbelievably crazy year, learned so much about friendship and love and all the other things that make every moment of my life worth living.

Entering the new year with some solid friendships and a pretty new amazing relationship with the sweetest most loving person in my life is definitely a good sign. I'm excited what this year will bring! Come at me, 2015! :)

Now that it is closer to the end of 2014, I've come to realise that things have changed quite tremendously. Both good and bad.

Highlights of '14 life in a nutshell:
- Travelled interstate for the first time with friends
- Learnt a meaningful resolution: Fail > Try Again > Fail > Try Again > Fail > Try Again > Success (Keep trying, because a successful person will never stop at a failure)
- Met some really good people: new friendships formed and old friendships rekindled and even more strongly bonded than before

I've concentrated on uni more (more like last semester) and did my very best, ending with positive and worthwhile results. I can definitely see the contrast between how I took on study. I've probably never cried so much but nevertheless, I've never felt so happy with the progress and results that 2014 has given me. I’m blessed to have everything I've gained and I hope that all the things and people that have stepped into my life STAY in my life. I hope that friendships that have been lost will gradually re-form and that more happiness comes around the corner when 2015 begins. Bring on 2015! :)

One Day.

When I finally have enough courage, I’m going to give a call to everyone who I've lost a connection with on my contact list.
I miss a lot of people who I used to talk to actually, I just never had the chance to tell them.

Have you ever meet someone for the first time and think they look just alright/decent?

Like they don’t look ugly but they’re not particularly attractive either. They’re only average. But then you start talking and getting to know them more and all of the sudden your whole perspective of them change. You notice the little things that make them amazing - the way they smile, the way they laugh, the way they talk about their passions. The way they carry themselves and treat others. Suddenly they’re not just average anymore, but rather endearing. I think that’s why personality is so important. You could be the most attractive person on earth, but without a good personality you’re just a pretty face with no substance. And who wants to talk to someone with no depth?
