Healing doesn't mean it stops hurting. It means you have decided to do something about the hurt and I am proud of you.

It is normal to have days where everything feels great and you’re happy and it’s also normal to have days where for some reason everything reminds you of the things you’re trying to heal from and I wanted to tell you both days are okay. 

The hurt won’t last forever but in order to overcome it you have to embrace the healing process and so far you’ve been doing amazing. DON'T let a bad day seem like a setback. It’s all apart of the journey. Take care of yourself today 🤍

PS.  Today I found myself asking why after a very long time. I feel like I’ve been very good lately with understanding that even the things I don’t understand need to happen for a reason but today it just hurt a little bit and I couldn’t help but ask why again, so if you're feeling the same as me, just know you’re not alone and it’s okay.
