12:30am rant

can’t sleep so here’s my occasional half past midnight rant that’s currently occupying my mind

why throw away a relationship that was so good and pure and now it’s awkward to even text a hi? like do people not care about a friendship dying? hello and ya it can be my fault too but when I try to re-kindle it just doesn’t work out?? like do you not care about the memories we had?? sigh we both know so much about each other and now they just linger at the back of our minds like what do I do with them now and yes people change but we were once friends so what makes u think we can’t still be friends now

also I haven’t been on blog a lot recently lol all my posts have been queues so hi

To be honest

I have a hard time talking about my feelings and thoughts because, one, I really don’t want to burden anyone with my problems, two, I don’t trust that people will listen without any preconceived judgments, and three, I don’t expect anyone to understand. Also, it should go without saying that these things are meant to be confidential, but for some reason, people like to talk.

So here’s a shout out to the people that ask “are you okay?” and “what’s wrong?” not because they’re curious, but because they actually care. I don’t like to be needy all the time and I’ve learned how to handle problems on my own, but that little reassurance that I’m not alone is definitely always welcome. I know that talk is cheap, and “I’m here for you” is such a cliché comfort line, but to the people who have proved over and over again that I don’t have to keep everything to myself, and that it’s good to let things out every once in awhile… thankyou. Thankyou so much, and I can only hope that I’m as good of a friend to you as you are to me. 

There is something very important about being open; to be able to share your heart with another human being, to pour out your honest thoughts - unsifted, unedited - is part of how we process and grow. Don’t keep it all to yourself. The good or the bad. It’s good to open up without fear or pressure about how you find the words to say it aloud. There is something deeply connecting about being heard in complete authenticity.

There is a point where you can’t communicate any longer with another person because their head is so far up their butt they can’t see their own self-righteousness or hear anything you have to say. Sad.

Self-absorbed, self-focused, selfish people hurt people.

If you are the most important thing to you, hells yeah you may get what you want all the time but you’ll lose people. Relationships of value take putting others needs before your own sometimes. By always putting yourself first you show what and who is most important. Don’t be that person. You’ll ultimately be the one who misses out. They’ll go find someone who does care and move on past your crap.

It’s not hard to tell who your true friends are.

Rather than being jealous, true friendship is a manifestation of being proud and genuinely happy for each other when good things happen. True friendship flaunts selflessness; you get what you give, and that includes being there for each other during the highs and lows. True friendship is being honest and letting each other know that there’s a problem and fixing it without announcing it to the world.

“Best friends” is just a title. There’s no meaning behind it if you can’t act like one. Step outside your shoes and be more aware that your self-indulgence is a bit taxing.

In other words… your need to be the center of attention is annoying as shit and you’re a horrible friend lol, please reevaluate yourself. 

Different types of drunks

1. Party Drunk:

• will talk to anyone and everyone
• only does shots
• has to literally be dragged home at the end of the night because they refuse to acknowledge that the party has ended and they are the only persion still there

2. Blissful Drunk

• does nothing but laugh
• just happy to be included
• too good for this world
• loves you so much eventhough they just met you few minutes ago

3. Emotional Drunk

• not great at parties
• it's either crying tears of sorrow because there's no chips left or crying tears of gratitude because someone showed them where the bathroom is
• brings out everyone's inner mother

4. Parent Drunk

• keep everyone's shit together
• everyone thinks they're sober but they have actually had 5 shots in a hour
• knows when you need to go home and will make sure you get there
• holds back your hair when you are vomiting at 3 am

5. Slutty Drunk

• never gets cold
• makeup never smudges
• never has to buy their own drinks
• you think they are sloppy and have no idea what they are doing but every move is calculated and intentional

6. Sloppy Drunk

• wasted by 9pm
• needs to be taken home early
• will drink anything you give them as long as there is alcohol in it
• a MESS
• never learns from their mistakes

Have you ever wonder... if there's someone out there who always pay attention to you?

Like they don't just stalk you on social medias but actually pay attention to the mini details, for example, you seem upset today, you've been dressing up differently lately, or that you smile even for the simplest thing.

Having people like this in your life is a blessing. People care about how you feel, how you think and how you act. I've been caring too much my entire life and I wonder if someone out there who too care about me in this similar way.

But the thing is, people nowadays care and emphasise too much on how you look, meaning what you look is equivalent to your inner beauty. Aka you have to be eye-catching to get their attention, let them approach you and slowly discover the "real" you. I guess it's human nature but don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy making friends and I don't choose my friend based on how charming they are or how popular they are. That's why I appreciate some people because they know me too well, they don't care if I look like shit today and they criticise me all the time but I can feel them love.

People say I am observant with friends, maybe it's something in me but trust me if I don't care about you, no matter how observant I am, I won't bother looking.

Overall, a nice day to spend with uni friends :) Went to a cocktail party organised by wapsa! Cost 30 bucks - so expensive.... but in my opinion, sadly it wasn't worth it! :( We get a free cocktail at the start, then a free ticket to get a drink (either wine, beer or soft drink) and typical finger foods - eg. springrolls, party pies, sushis.. and I think that's pretty much it! :P later on, they put up those just the way club music on..... BUT.... no one dance... like literally NO ONE! People just chit chat with each other.. so sad! I was so eager to move into the dancefloor and dance... but I didn't lol... don't have enough guts bleurghhh :P Till the middle, my friends and I were like you know what, let's go out the function centre and take a walk and come back.. that's what we said..... First we went to TimeZone, SO WARM inside! AMAZING! Cos the weather's outside was really cold... and I only had a cardigan onto my dress eek. We didn't play on them and after a while, after "we got warm" haha... we went to Pot Black to play poool! LOL. I was so noob at it... oh god... feel so sorry to my team mate XD I haven't played it since like year 8... and that was yonks away! :P And pretty much we ended there, never went back to the party as we planned before haha!

Twas a great day today! :D 

Was supposed to have a YOP day today but sadly, on da last minek, Mary couldn’t make it :( so sad T.T so it was just me, Viv and Ken (viv’s highschool pal!) Had a Jap-themed lunch at Northbridge :) I ordered cold noodles since le weather was so ridicously HOT! It was alright. … there’s a quite alot on the plate too and it only costed 13 bucks… not too bad. Since it was cold, the noodles were all clumped so it was a bit tad hard to eat with chopsticks lol :P 

#no effect cos the noodles are already prettily presented that it don't need any fixes and edit haha ;)#

Later, when our tummies were full, we went to Utopia to get bubbleteas then headed to karaoke there! Spent a good deal of 4ish hours there haha XD le FUN! it was my first time going to karaoke at Perth lol like finally haha after being in Perth for so long… well better late than never XD and I’m not a good singer even though I have done public singing performances in the past where one of such example was to sing in front of like 300 people… so intense and scary…. even worse than debating lol :P

After karaoke, bought desserts and bubbleteas at utopia for my family since they were craving for them lol X)

That’s pretty much it! Went home afterwards, so packed in the train and bus cos it’s during peak hours… which I hate the most…. oh and also another thing I hate it is when school students finished eurghhhhhhh (but thank goodness I didn't crashed into them today lol) :P

PS. Didn’t took a selfie today lol….. so unusual haha X)

Woohoo! No work tomorrow! Yeow! Slacking off a tad bit haha! :) Catching up with my cousin on Wednesday…. can’t wait! :D #there will be pictures haha if youse were wondering lol# Then work on Thursday…. Dayuuuuuuuum…. Got work off on Friday (YAY!)… then celebration…. Of le Chinese New Year! :P 

Ya... didn't do a post yesterday cos I was so tired and I slept really late..... around 2am.... reasonable? XD

This morning was such a TOTAL JOKE.

Let me tell youse all about it..

I knew that today's the day that I catch up with Viv and some other asian people that I have met twice/quite several times..... and last night before I headed to sleep which was 2am, I did a quick plan-out when to take the bus and the train and such and such so that I arrive on da right time :P soo all was good..... that's what I thought in the middle of the night..... before... realising the biggest mistake I had.....was that...... I totally forgot today's Sunday..... which meant... different bus times.... I WAS LIKE F**K and I had to stand there for like around 15mins-ish... *palm to da face* and I was like so nervous that I was gonna be late and all and everyone have to wait for me and stuff (which is rude) :P thank god, I arrived at the city on da dot..... but..... I realised that they already waiting in front of the restaurant already lol since there were heapza people so I scurried over there...... and indeed, there. were. so. many. people. typical. Sunday. lol. to. have. yumchaaaaaaaaaa.!

To get a table in the restaurant (there were 6 of us - 5 girls and 1 guy lol) and start munching..... guess how long we have to wait? The time to wait is insaneeeeely long! You'll have your jaws drop when you hear this........ it takes 45 mins to reach us.... we were soooo hungry! :X when we heard our numbers, we were like omg thank god! It was literally like, "FOOD...... WE'RE HERE!" LOL :P
We ordered so many haha XD and ended up so fulllllllll! :P

Afterwards, we walked around considering we were so damn full... and thus.. walked to utopia.... and had bubbleteassssss lol XD I ordered rose tea with choc sagos (yummay!) while Viv had passionfruit tea with sagos! I wanted to order passionfruit as well since I hadn't have it in agessssss..... but when I found out it contained seeds...... eeek.... I hate seeds in my drinks.... and I dunno why eventhough people said you can just swallow it and pretend it's not there or anything..... but ain't worked for me :( I feel it :P

Then, we walked to the city (were at northbridge - the asian side of Perth! XD)! Watched a performance! Real damn goooooooooood! Very entertaining, I should say! :D

Walked around Myer and that's pretty much it, then we went home since half of us have work!

Had an a-w-e-s-o-m-e day today - celebrated one of my uni's friend who's about to turn 18 by in fact, tomorrow haha!
Started off with lunch/snacks/cake then movies - watched "Looper" (thoughts: wasn't too bad, at the start I was hella confused as but at the end, I was like ohhhhhhhh I get it lol XD)
After this, had bubbleteas at utopiaa :) to be honest, I don't go there often :P so I was like um what should I order LOL.... at the end I asked one of my friend's recommendation since she loves utopia so I ended up ordering a regular rose milk tea with chocolate sagos..... Twas bravo!! :D hehe.
Then we went to bowling haha and it was my first time playing it :P better late than never trololol.
At the start, I got the hang of it until after many turns, I was like mehhh, ceebs lol since I kept on missing the target, the ball just casually slipped to the side :P conclusion, I sucked at it haha! But my friends said its pretty good considering it was my first shot at it haha XD
We finished pretty early for a dinner together but with all the traffics in the road + the time ticked quite fast, arrived in the city just in time for a dinner haha XD
So ya, a pretty great day spent with uni friends :D

being a goody-too studious person at uni studying for exams with Viv! :)

Had iceyice today with Viv! I present you...... the "Pink Lady"!

So strawberrily gooood!! :D hehe it had 4 pokeys (I noticed there's 3 cos Viv got one to munch on before I took the picture lol :P), fresh strawberries and marshmallows! Perfect combo! 'twas amazing and helpful since today was so hot.... and I was wearing black jeans.... which were very outstanding for this weather... but luckily I wore a crop top.. phew! :D

After that, Viv went home since she has work laterr while I went to utopia to buy some desserts :D then SweetFix to get lychee bubble tea hehe! Had 2 serves of bubble tea this week (so bad I know :P) but I do know that after exams and in the holidays, I will less likely to touch any kinds of bubble teas :P

Then, had dinner at Jaws with ze familyy - it was a trek for me to get there..... sweating the whole time and my face was literally red red...... so gross :/ And again, had strawberry milk bubble tea with pearls AGAIN from easyway since there's an offer, my bro got one too - he had the peach one with sagos.

VERY HEALTHY. I know. XD

Overall, it's a great day!!! :D

But now, back at home to do my assignment :( which is due tomorrow at 11:59pm :D which is good, I pretty much get a whole day to finish it hehe! Then, I gotta start studying for my examsss :O :O

Anway, after class, Viv and I went to leedy and had lunch and dessert!

For lunch, we went to Siena's. Food were goood (Y)


The top one was fried calamari/squid or whatever you want to called it haha and viv ordered that!
The middle one of course was wedges with tomato sauce! :D
While the bottom one was what I ordered, it's pastas with really creamy mushroomy sauce!! Kinda got sickk of mushroom and I couldn't even finish it (so full!) :P
Ya since we couldn't finish our food, we packed it away :D Viv's got mine while I got her's haha XD


Then, dessert - tutti frutti ;) hehehe. Of course, in the past, I have posted quite a lot of photos of tutti frutti, this time, none, were all gobbled up before remembering to take any photos haahaha! XD

So that's prettayy much my day! :D

On another note, still can't believe that next week is going to be the last week of uni! OMG! The first year of uni just passed by, like a click! :P Where has all the time goneee???????

Last week ---> study week ----> examss -----> holidayssssss (4 months to be approximate!)
gonna miss my uni friends :'( but I guess I'll see then when to catch up with everyone before anyone leavess haha! XD
